Lavender field is a luxuriously soft, hand-dyed BFL (blue faced Leicester) and silk lace weight yarn. This “next to skin” yarn is ideal for shawls and delicate garments. It has a beautiful sheen. Although this is a superwash yarn, special care needs to be taken when washing

If more than one skein in needed, it’s advised that you use alternate skeins to prevent pooling.

All our hand-dyed yarns are carefully washed and rinsed after dyeing. However, during the first wash, a small amount of bleeding may occur.

Hand wash only using wool wash in cool water and dry flat.
