Description
Kalahari, is a luxuriously soft hand dyed BFL silk fingering weight yarn. The yarn has a silky sheen making it a favourite for shawls and garments. The 4 ply construction is strong enough to use for sweaters, hats and gloves.
Fibre: 55% Superwash BFL (Blue Faced Leicester), 45% silk 4 ply

A fingering weight, hand dyed yarn, using professional acid dyes.
If more than one skein in needed, it’s advised that you use alternate skeins to prevent pooling. These yarns have all been dyed together, however each skein will differ slightly from the next.
All our hand dyed yarns are carefully washed and rinsed after dyeing, however during the first wash, a small amount of bleeding may occur.
Hand wash using wool wash in cool water and dry flat. As this is a superwash yarn which means the item can be washed in a wool setting in the washing machine, we do advise all garments to be hand washed.
